What is this tool?

Turns a photo of a document into a clean, high-contrast "scanned" look -- upload a photo or capture one with your camera, and it's converted to crisp black-and-white or enhanced grayscale, similar to what a real document scanner produces. Runs entirely in your browser -- the photo never leaves your device.

How to use it

Upload a photo of a document or use your camera to take one, choose Black & White or Enhanced Grayscale, adjust the threshold or contrast if needed, and download the result.

This enhances contrast and converts colors -- it doesn't automatically detect the document's edges or correct the angle it was photographed at, so for the cleanest result, photograph the document as straight-on and well-lit as you can, filling most of the frame.
